Hi Eileen, It pretty much depends on the surgeon whether or not the gall-bladder is removed. Some Dr's refuse to take out a perfectly healthy organ. Talk to your surgeon! BIGGHUGGZZZZ

Eileen!
Please consult your doctor to see what his requirements are!! My doctor was very specific. I had to stop BCP at least 30 days in advance of my surgery. Because of malabsorption, I had to find an alternative when I went back on birth control. My PCP prescribed the NuvaRing! I love it. But you said you're not on estrogen, so please see what your doctor requires. Best wishes

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others, It is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important, Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart Cling to that as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life. Don't give up when you still have something to give Nothing is really over … until the moment you stop trying. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect, It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other. Don't be afraid to encounter risks, It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love. The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly, And the best way to keep love is to give it wings. Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope. To be without hope is to be without purpose. Don't run through life so fast that you forget where you've been, But also know where you're going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored every step of the way.

Hi Eileen, I know you're scared, but you wouldn't be normal if you weren't. You have the same feelings that all of us have had going into a major surgery. Just think about how you will be healthwise further down the road if you don't do something about your weight. I am wishing you a successful surgery. Know that God is watching over you and we are all praying for your speedy recovery. BIGGHUGGZZZZ to you and your Hubby.

~*~(From my heart to yours)I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.(unknown author)~*~Hugs~*~
