Marcia, It's getting closer and closer with each passing day,,..,, when you'll be rolled into the OR,,..,, then you'll be on your way,,..,, to loosing all those unwanted pounds and making them go away..,,.. Good Luck with your surgery and may you have a speedy recovery.

10-31-02 Well if there was an icon showing someone biting their nails that would be me! I have less than a week to go before surgery. Already I am losing sleep! (can't wait til that changes to weight!) But its kinda nice with it being Halloween today I have a 9 year old, she is going trick or treating and I am going to "sample", so its nice I can get some candy in before surgery. :) This website is great I met a very sweet woman thru this website who has the same doc as me, she JUST had her surgery 2 weeks ago and lives 2 blocks from me! Is that incredible or what??? She has warned me of the bowel prep...ICK...I am TRYING not to binge on food before the surgery...I have been having one GOOD meal a day...(I didnt say healthy...I said GOOD) and a couple rice krispie bars in the evening. So really I dont think I am gonna go in with a weight gain. Also, to people who are reading this and somewhere near the surgery date also...It IS normal to have anxiety over this and 2nd guess yourself if this is the right thing to do...(well at least I hope it is or I am abnormal). But the way I look at this, I have come SOOOOO far and if this is where I am at now than God wants me to have this done. I need to trust more and I know things will be ok. Everyone keep your disappearing chins up and lets keep praying for eachother! Til next time!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing.
