MARI~~CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING IT TO THE LOSING SIDE~~ May Each New Day Find You Feeling Better.... There are so many people thinking nice thoughts about you and wishing you a quick, easy recovery

Mari S. 23 years, 7 months ago

Well, here I am six days post-op. Everything went well, I'm back on my feet and I'm eating small amounts. Even went to the mall today! (Preparing for getting back to work in a couple more days). I was quite emotional 2 days post-op when I came home from the hospital, and continued to feel depressed for a couple days. I guess this is normal? I kept wondering what in the world I was thinking when I decided to have the surgery, and that my life would never be normal again. Things are looking up now, although I'm still having weird and terrible nightmares. I think I've lost a few pounds - maybe even 10 - but there's no difference to see yet.

Peace and blessings from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Just sending you a word of comfort to let you know you have made a beautiful choice. You will be stronger after this process. I had an open RNY on 8/14 and am already down 57 pounds. Be strong and fearless as you start your new journey.
