BIG Thanks for all the kind words and "PRAYERS" from all of you! The day before my barium test again, a Chaplin came into my room to see if there was anything he could do for me. I told him I would love to have him pray with my daughter and me. And as I looked at his name tag it read "CHAPLIN DEWEY", the name of my deceased father! Not a common name. I still tear up when I think of it. God was there, but he brought my dad too!....

I am her "Angel" and trying to make contact with the hospital and Sandi....sigh! They say she is not registered there, so I can not get us an update! I will post an update or have Sandi as soon as I find out, lets all say a prayer for her as you can read she had definitely had her plate full!

Wishing you well on your upcoming surgery and for a speedy recovery. Soon we will all be on the loosing side. Oct. 3 is my date to start loosing. Good luck and may you feel so much better once the weight is GONE forever!!!

Day after tomorrow is the "BIG" day! I report to the hospital at 6 am 10\1. I've had a lot going on, which I guess is good, it's taken my mind off the surgery. I had to have 2 echocardiograms, one of them was a stress test. I also had a heart catherization, chest x-ray, 5 EKG's, ultra sound on my kidneys, liver, spleen, and gall bladder. Everything is OK! I've been getting together all the vitamins, drinks, jello, etc. This has been a real learning process, and will continue to be. I have found some real wonderful friends on this site and at our local support meetings. Keep e in your prayers. Thank you for all the wonderful messages.

Hi Sandi, I just wanted to send a short note to offer prayers for your speedy and uneventful surgery and recovery on Tuesday. WL Surgery is a big step, but one made alot easier by all the friends you have here. Best Wishes again and God Bless. Gwen Allen
