Hello everyone. Tomorrow is my 6 month post op anniversary and I've lost 72 pounds. I have 28 more pounds to loose to reach my personal goal of 100 pounds lost. I'm so happy. I can't remember the last time I was this weight and size.

Well Hello again. Yesterday I celebrated my 5 month post op anniversary and I've lost approximately 60 pounds. WOO HOO. I've also dropped 3 clothes sizes. I haven't been at my current weight in over 5 years. I'm so happy.

TADA!!!! I've lost 29 lbs in 29 days. I'm loving this. Averaging a pound a day is great!

Hello again. Well as of yesterday I was 22 days post op and down 22lbs. If I can keep this up for another 100 days I'll be at my ideal body weight. I saw my surgeon yesterday and had my drainage tube removed. I hated that thing. And he gave me the go ahead to eat whatever I want. But to be honest with you, I'm too scared to do that. I've been experimenting a little, but usually after 3 bites I'm stuffed. I'm still not getting in all of the water I need, but it's getting better.

Well, here I am. I'm 4 days post op and still rather sore but I can get around. I've been home for 2 days by myself and I'm doing alright. I'm a little bored. I haven't taken any pain medicine so far today and I feel pretty good about that. I can't drink the amount of water that's expected of me. In fact water in general makes me nauseous. I can drink juice and tea so far with no problems. I'm eating lots of popsicles and nibbling at the jello. Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement and support. I'll be back to post some more as time goes on.

Well, this is it! I'm getting ready to leave for the hospital. I'm a nervous wreck!!!! I think I may have slept 1 whole hour last night. I'm starving and a little whiny. Wish me luck.
