Shae went to the doctor on Wednesday April 24, 2002 and had her staples removed. She has lost 30 POUNDS already!!!! She is feeling good and sounds wonderful. She is two weeks post-op.

Dear Shae ~ Your weight is nearly over~ I wish you luck and JOY for the journey. May God's blessings chase you everywhere you go on your WLS journey. Remember as you travel down the path of WLS recovery when you look out there ahead of you and see the rainbow there is a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow and it is a HEALTHY NORMAL SIZED BODY!!! Whoooo Hooo!

Shae, congratulations on your recent surgery. May peace and love surround you as you continue your journey. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Hello everyone. My name is Leslie Kidd and I am Shae's angel. And I must admit, not a very good one. I actually forgot that I was suppose to be her angel. I had my plastic surgery on March 25, 2002. (And a brain and drugs to not mix!) With me recovering and trying to get pass the side effects of the pain medication once I stopped taking them, was not good for me. I feel like this isn't a good enough excuse because I told Shae that I was going to be able to do this for her and now I have failed her. Shae please forgive me. I am so SORRY for this. All of us "post-ops" know that having support after this surgery is very important. I really feel bad about this in my heart and I am so sorry! Shae had her surgery on April 10 and it was a success. I will update on her progress soon.
