Hello everyone, Thank you all for your well wishing. I am now 6 weeks post-op and I am doing wonderful. I had a brief set back, I became dehydrated and that caused a few other problems. They are all now under control and I am feeling fabulous. I have lost 32 lbs and I am able to walk around the block for the first time in many many years. YIPPIE.

Hello Diane, I wanted to wish you well. I know you are a couple of weeks post op now. Congratulations on your journey to a better and more healthy way of living. My surgery is one week away. (11/16) Soon I'll be on the other side with you and many others.

Diane, Thank you for your wishes, prayers and thoughts. I will be thinking of you and praying we both get though the surgery with flying colors. Here I am at 2:30 am on Monday morning....guess I'm a bit more nervous than I let on. But, yet I contemplated the alternative a great deal yesterday and decided this is the path I need to be on.
