Welcome!!!! Congrats on your surgery date!I just wanted to welcome you to obesityhelp.com. I am 28 and from Oklahoma. I am scheduled to have open proximal ryn on August 10, 2001. I am excited and scared at the same time, but also ready to get it over with. I have insurance, but unfortunately wls is a written in exclusion. So, I am self paying... I have tried everything... and am not getting any help. But I figure the money is worth it to save my life. Let me know if I can do anything for ya! Take care.. and hang in there... your day will come!

Hi, thanks for sharing your story! I am also in the Boston area and I am scheduled for surgery August 31, 2001. Sounds like you have everything planned as far as care for the kids. You will do great! Keep in touch... I know waiting is the hardest part.About Me
