"My first impression of Dr. Udobi was that this guy sounds like he really cared. I spoke to him on the phone (jan 2001) a month or so before he had ever done any weight loss surgeries. He is a trauma surgeon at KU Med Center. He mailed me a packet of information including description of the surgery itself, aftercare needed, nutritional information, etc. I guess what impressed me most was that he personally spent time to talk to me at great length. While I was in the stages of deciding on a surgeon, he returned my phone calls or his office support person Angela put him on the phone immediately. It was common for me to talk to him for 30 minutes or more on the phone several times. I like this personal attention. Dr. Udobi went to the bariatric seminar in June, and I feel confident putting my life in his hands."
