CONGRATULATIONS, Stefanie I'm glad to hear you are doing great. WOW!! what a great wt loss. Keep up the good job. I feel that I also made the best decision ever. I just left the doc and have loss 23 more lbs making it 72lbs all together. Yippee anyways (giggling) You take care and remember everyday is a blessing. Hugs

Hello Everyone, First I would like to give honor and praises to God who brought through this decision and surgery. Well I am 6 weeks Post-op and feeling great. I have lost a total so far of 50lbs. I am finally seeing the change and I definitly feel the change. I want to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. May God Bless You All.

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Stefanie, Best wishes and many blessings in your new life. It will have some challenges in the beginning, but nothing you can't handle, and it is SO worth it. I don't regret for a second my decision, and you won't either. Congratulations! I'm from D also, maybe I'll see you at a support group sometime. See you on the other side! Hugs,
