"I arrived at the hospital about 5:30 a.m. somewhat anxious. The surgery staff began their prep. and did their best to put me at ease.
My room was private and large, the bed was state of the art with all the bells and whistels and very comfortable, I could even be weighed in this bed.
I had a PC pump for pain meds and I can say that I really never felt any discomfort due to the pain, which was one of my main worries before surgery.
On the second day after surgery, I was awaken from sleep due to a rapid heart beat. The nurses were right there along with my family doctor(who's office is in the building) and my surgen Dr. Seigert. It was determined that my problem was due to not having my high blood pressure meds. for several days. I was rushed to the heart floor where the staff was ready for me and begin working on me as soon as I arrived. They were totally focused on me and making me as comfortable as possible by explaining what they were doing as they worked to lower my blood pressure. I felt no anxiety at all. I spent one night on the heart floor connected to a monitor and returned to the surgery floor the next day on the opposite side. I found the staff to be just as friendly and helpful.
My experience at Trinty was wonderful and I would go there again without reservation. "
