Tananchai Lucktong

"My first impression of Dr. Lucktong is that he seemed "nervous". But, I attributed this to being new to our area. In addition, I'm a paralegal and know that while some attorneys dont really come across that well in the office they "shine" in a courtroom. While I was in the hospital, I couldnt say enough good things. He saw me twice a day and his residents saw me once a day. I was very impressed. He did seem to "loosen" up a but toward the end of my hospital stay. I have my first preop appointment on 11/7 so I'm not sure about aftercare. Dr. Lucktong is very thorough when going over the risks of the surgery during the preop appointment. He does this in person and does not rely on nurses for this important task. I give him a 10 out of 10 overall!! His surgical competence vs. bedside manner appear to be about equal. They're both GREAT! One thing that impressed me the most was that he told me in the hospital to use my pain medication as much as I needed and not to try to "tough" it out. He said he was a firm believer in pain control and did not want his patients in any more pain than absolutely necessary."

"Day staff was way better than night staff at responding to pain medicine requests. Took me an hour + at night to get my pain meds. Staff very very nice overall. Possible night shift just very understaffed. "
