I know you probably hear this all the time but you got to EAT and DRINK for you to lose weight. If your body feels "starved" it will hang on to the fat and store it. So TRY to eat those nasty things you mentioned and what ever your dr allows at this stage. Get that water in. God bless. It WILL come off. Jamie

HI Karen. Call your surgeon; he should call in a prescription for your nausea, mine did in liquid form. Sometimes a taste of peanut butter stops my nausea, hiccups, and heart burn! LOL Hang in there girl, it will all get better, promise! Stay POSITIVE IN THINKING and you will do okay! Hope you get to feeling better soon. ((((HUGS))))

Karen, I didn't experience hunger right after surgery. But I did go through food withdrawals...in fact, I would stuff my mouth full of food and chew it then spit it out. I did this a couple of times until I realized what I was doing and how stupid I it would look if anyone caught me doing this. Maybe the hunger is in your head? Stick to the liquids and hang in there. ~J

My surgery was Wednesday. Everything went smoothly, no problems. I came home from the hospital today and I have a BIG problem. My appetite is OVERWHELMING!! I feel great and i want to eat everything that isnt tied down. My pouch does not allow me to do so, however. Did anyone else experience this appetitie explosion?? Help! Why am I feeling so hungry?
