"I had my first visit with Dr. Hammer and I simply love him! He is direct, seems to be sincere and honest. He had plenty of time to answer our questions and to explain things in terms we could understand. It was a good consultation. His staff is very pleasant and willing to help in questions and etc. Aftercare is very much stressed and is a high priority with him. I will be seeing a nutritionist, phychologist and a Occupational Therapist efore and after surgery. Those pre-op visits are eing scheduled now as I wait for approval of insurance. Dr. Hammer made no bones about the risks and that this surgery is not for everyone. He make the final call and if he thinks the risks are too great he will not do surgery on you. I'd say Dr. Hammer deservesa high rating in every area."
