***ANGEL UPDATE*** I made my way into the 100 plus degree heat to check on Amiee at the Fresno Surgery Center. When I arrived, her husband and three darling children were visiting, so I made my stay brief! She looked wonderful and said she was feeling good. She starts her liquid diet tomorrow ... so for the time being she's still on IVs! Her estimated departure day from the Surgery Center is Friday ... she's looking at this as a "mini vacation." Good going Amiee!!! Jennifer
Dear Aimee--I am reading good news about you--although I had no doubt I would!--I think your angel Jennifer should bring you a pair of track shoes with all that walking you are doing!!--Hope you get to go home soon!! PS--are those sparks coming off your feet? Peace and Love!
***ANGEL UPDATE*** Hi Everyone! I spoke with Amiee earlier this evening and she came through surgery with flying colors. She was on lap 22 around the nurses' station!!! Pretty impressive, don't you think? The nurses told her that one mile is 32 laps ... so she has a goal set for this evening. I'll be dropping in on her tomorrow and will let you know how things are going. Jennifer
