11/10/03 Hello to all, This is Gwyn reporting again . Everything is wonderful. I am 5 months post-op with a 52lbs lost forever. I have not gone shopping yet, but I need to. I don't want to be some where and my cloths fall off of me, if you know what I mean (under wear). This would not be a pretty site. I feel wonderful and I thank God and my doctor for this precedure and healing. I can tell everyone I had no pain at all. It took me some time to get walking in like I should, but no pain. Everyday I walk for half-a-hour. I hope one day to make my walking longer, but I seem to not be able to find the time. I can't tell you where the weight is going, but it is leaving me. Thank God! Between the end of my 3rd month and beginning of the 4th month, I was at a stand still. After that the weight started dropping off again. I guess my body was adjusting. I tell anyone with a weight problem that you don't have to stay in the shape that you are in,WLS is a way out for you. I will update from time to time. When your date of surgery arise, don't worry, God will take you in and bring you out alright. By the way my hubby had this surgery before I did (two years ago). His weight is still down. Reach up and pull down what you did from The Lord. He has everything you need. God Bless.

09/15/03 Hello to all, This is Gwyn herself. I just want to say I am very please with this surgery. My surgery was on 06/09/03 and as of today I have lost 40lbs. If I had to do this surgery again, I would in a heart beat. I believe the Gastric By-pass Surgery is a blessing from God for everyone. Remember it is God that give knowledge to everyone. I thank God that the doctors are sharing this knowledge with us. I will until to pray for everyone going through and for those that are still waiting to be approved. God knows how to make a way out of no way. God Bless.....................

06/17/03 Hello everyone. I am on the loosing side, praise to God my Father and savior. I had surgery on 06/09th and came home Friday (06/13). All when well, even when I woke in the recovery room I was not in pain. As a matter of fact, I have not had pain at all. I tell you with God and my doctor, I have the best team on the planet. Each day get better and better. This is my first day on the computer since I've been home. My wonderful husband has been with me every step of the way. I don't know what I would do without him. I thank God for our marriage every day. I am not walking much, but each day I try to increase my walking. Next Tuesday I go get the staples and drain tubs out, which should also help to make this journey lighter. Wee I am going to take a little walk now. My prayers and wishes for everyone on this journey will never stop. Just trust God, Jesus, Holy Father and you will be fine. I will update later. God Bless.

6-08-03Hello everyone. Today is my birthday and I am glad about it. Well tomorrow I will be off to see the wizard. I have had two days of liquids and poop poop, if you know what I mean. I started packing my bag with a few thing and the rest in the morning. I have to be at the hospital at 6:30AM. I know everything will be find because it is well with my soul. God has not giving me the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mine. To all of my rebirth buddies that are going through tomorrow, I will see you on the loosing side. It won't be long now. Take the Lord with you every where you go. I will update when I return. God Bless.
