Jr... I didn't get my approval letter either. I called Group Health (not sure what you have) and they said they don't send approval letters but to not worry, I was approved. Funny they will send a denial but not approval! Oh well.. I'm approved and that's all that counts! You might call and ask them to be sure. Good luck! Dawn

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JR, We are on the opposite side of the same issue.. lol. I have approval, but no surgeon. I hope both of our WLS dramas come to a happy ending. *hugs*
