Lisa! Congratulations on entering the losing side! You are now a loser like the rest of us! I hope you feel better real soon. Remember to walk and sip your liquids slowly. Don't forget to update us as soon as you are able to. God Bless!

Lisa is doing fine. I saw her yesterday. The room is so fragrant full of beautiful flowers. I find that so relaxing! :) Her oxygen was a little low early in the day but her blood ox level was fine. A few breathing treatments upped the oxygen as well. She was up and walking some more and in better spirits in the late afternoon. I got to meet her two cousins who both had the RNY --- Some of the group was actually kicked out because there were too many visitors in the room at the same time! Lisa should be discharged on Monday. All the best, an angel Teresa

This is Lisa's fraternal twin and co-angel Julie. I apologize for not providing an update sooner--my mother and I were at the hospital all day yesterday (and most of today). Many thanks to Teresa for posting the FYI! Lisa's surgery was a success indeed! She was/is an absolute trooper--up and around three times today, on ice chips and water (via slow sips) :)SNAPS, PROPS AND CONGRATULATIONS, LIL' SISTER--I LOVE YOU!!!

ONE OF LISA'S ANGELS FLYING IN: I spoke with Lisa today - she is doing OUTSTANDING! She's already been up to walk around three times today! :) She sounded absolutely great. She says she's tolerating the ice chips well and will move to liquids tomorrow. I'm going to visit tomorrow and I'll print out her surgery page, so if anyone has anything to share or say - Post so she can read it in the hospital! All the best, Teresa

Hi Lisa: I am so very happy that your surgery date has finally come, and I have been thinking about you non-stop all day long. Julie took a bit longer than I expected to call me, but as soon as my cell phone rang my heart jumped. I am glad to hear that your surgery was successful and that you are resting comfortably. I am also glad that you have so much support right here from this loving community at obesity help. I am so glad I could be there for you throughout the ups and downs of this process and cannot wait to be there for this new and exciting journey. You have so many friends who love you and cannot wait to see you. I will try and come on Saturday if not I will visit you when you come home. Best wishes for a fast recovery and love always. Michelle

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Hi, I am Lisa's cousin, and spoke with her mom, my aunt tonight. She and Julie left Lisa at Lenox Hill sleepy, but comfortable. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our family has yet another loser!! LC and I are both successful post ops and now Lisa will have the opportunity to feel so much better!! I'm going with my husband to see her tomorrow evening. Can't wait. I just knew this would happen for her. She deserved it!!
