"Met with Dr. Brolin today. I have gone to 1 of his support group meetings and saw how he was with his patients. He tells it like it is. He explained everything he will be doing.Answered all my ? from a 4 page sheet I had. His office staff was helpful and friendly.He went over my list of meds and said it would probably be cut down by 2/3 after I start losing weight. He told me the support group meets every 2 months. He explained the risks of surgery both immediate ones and long term ones. I feel he is very proffesional and likes his patients to be informed. He read all the paperwork I brought. His surgical competence is excellent he's been doing this for the last 18yrs and I like his bedside manner, straight and to the point. I feel I have made a wise choice to put my life into his hands. I was told he operates mon-thurs and sees pts. on Fridays."
