MaryAnn- I just read about your surgery- I am so happy things are going well for you! You are in my thoughts each day! Congratualtions on getting off of the diabetes meds! Here is wishing you a speedy recovery! Take care.
I spoke with MaryAnn again last night and although she still has a low grade fever, her spirits are great, she is up and walking and has not had to use her PCA pump as much. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
MaryAnn has blazed through to the other side without any major problems! WOOO HOOO! She had her surgery on Tuesday afternoon and spent the first night in ICU - just a little temperature that warranted some extra monitoring. She was transferred to her room on the floor this afternoon and I just spoke to her. She sounds as clear and bright as ever - she was even saying how the pain and incision were not nearly as bad as she thought they would be. Welcome her to the healthy new life she has chosen!
