I called the hospital around noon today to check on our dear Rose. I was advised she was sent home as a result of a medical condition. Dennis and I were concerned about Rose and yet, at the same time relieved. Rose had been hospitalized the week before with a severe case of brochitis and suffered severe asthma. Due to the fact her pcp did not inform Dr. Oh about her admission to the hospital, he was unaware until this morning of her most recent problems. When Dr. Oh called Rose yesterday he asked how she was and if she had a sore throat. She did not, and had thought he was calling because of her admittance to the hospital. Rose received a breathing treatment, steroids and antibiotics and was brought to the OR. The anesthesiologist said it would be unsafe for Rose to have surgery today and that she would inevitably be on life support should they proceed with the operation this morning. They have agreed to reschedule Rose's surgery and Rose, while naturally disappointed, is at peace with this medically motivated decision. Please keep Rose in your thoughts and prayers, she is a wonderful, wonderful lady! We love you Rose! God bless! Love, Lori "Teach" and Dennis
