Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your encouraging comments. I got out of the hospital on Friday, July 26. Each day gets better and better. I can't wait for the day that I actually feel "back to normal", but I know it will just take some time. I have never had any medical problems,hospitalizations, etc, so this is was a pretty major ordeal to have as my first trip to a hospital ever! I feel a little sore (ok,a lot sore), a little tired, sometimes a little weepy, but everyone keeps telling me that this is normal. I am still glad that I had this done, however. I go for my check-up appt. August 8.

HI Angela, Sorry! I accidentally clicked "post message" a sec ago! Hope your surgery went well. Mine was uneventful. Had a few rough days in hospital, but came home July 26th as planned. I've been fine at home. I'm not haveing any trouble with food, etc. Just some expected discomfort with incision site, very manageable. I'm walking on the treadmill 3 times a day. Just wanted you to know I've been thinking of you. God bless you today...your 7/23 buddy, chris horner

Hi Angela :) I hope all is going well for you!!!! I am anxiously waiting to hear how you are doing! My surgery was cancelled and rescheduled for Monday the 29th. So we may not be able to get in touch via e-mail for awhile :( {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you!

Angela, Hey there, just wanted to drop by and say congrats on your upcoming surgery. I know what an exciting time this is, I am only 11 says away and I am so ready to do this. I hope you have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. Good Luck!

Hi, The 23rd is a lucky day...it is the 1 year anniversary of my open RNY ( - 100 lbs. ) and I have had absolutely no problems...I wish for you the same success, speedy recovery and a skinny future! Diane Z.
