It is exactly one year ago today that I had my surgery and I have lost a total of 163 pounds. I have gone from a size 30/32 to 14/16 and still shrinking. The best news is that I am no longer diabetic, have high blood pressure or High cholesterol. I exercise 5 times a week at Curves and can walk up to 5 miles with my dogs. I plan on being in my first walk a thon this Spring. I am also celebrating my 40th Bday in July by Jumping out of an airplane. I never thought I would be small enough to do it and now I can. I would have this surgery again in a minute just for the health benefits. Peace to everyone who has had or is thinking of having this surgery. The road is hard, but worth it.
