Oh Cheryl.....in July of this year my family and I went to Vermont and Pennsylvania to visit some family. I was so embarrassed that my seatbelt wouldn't fasten on the airplane. My 4 children and husband sympathized with me, but it didn't make me feel better. My dear husband wanted to ask for an extension so that I would be safe. I pleaded with him not to do that. So I agree with you and know that this surgery is the right thing for me. My health would deteriate staying the way I am....Thanks for the inspiration and Congratulation on your surgery....I can't wait to have a date to look forward to. God Bless, Marilynn

Hello Cheryl - <b>Congratulations, </b>your special day is almost here! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. (I started living life again, 8 months ago and have since lost a 150 pounds, only 50 more to goal!!) I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Sure, there can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey.
