Congratulations Linda!! I know by the time you read this, you will be up and around and feeling much better. I pray that your surgery went well and was basically a textbook surgery. I guess I am next up and would love to hear how your's went if you feel up to it before the 26th. Take care and once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Hello Linda - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery date!   You'll find the changes that follow, nothing short of a miracle. For 20 years I prayed and hoped for a "second chance" in life to be healthier and thinner - I never thought I would get that chance, but I did, and now <u>so will you</u>.  My humble advice?  Walk as much as possible after surgery.  As your body begins to heal make sure to get in your protein, even if it means plugging your nose and chugging back the protein drinks in baby [pouch] gulps.  Vitamins need to be chopped, minced or crushed... whatever it takes to get them in daily, no exceptions, YOU are worth it.   Also, let's not forget your new best(est) friend, water.  It is SO important to get your minimum 64 oz in daily. One final thing, remember to <b>CELEBRATE</b> all the special moments along the way, big or small.  Too many people only focus on the <i>number</i>, ie. pounds lost.  There are so many "moments" to look forward to and embrace - don't let any of them slip by.   Enjoy your new healthier life, you've earned it!!   <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>  Hugs and smiles -

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK on your surgery. Take a deep breath, try to relax. Know that we all care about you and are wishing you the best. Think positive, it really does help. After surgery, remember to turn, cough, take deep breaths, and walk to prevent complications. Hold your incision when you cough, it helps it hurt less. Keep your profile updated, it may make a difference in the live of someone else. Smile, keep your chin up! And lastly, if your chin does fall, just remember, from this position it is easier to moon people! :) (Also, humor helps too!)
