1/11/03. It's been 40 days since surgery, and I've been 'comfortable' for the past 5 days...YAAY! Guess my rearranged guts have decided to make peace with me at last.
Just HAVE to stay away from that scale every day.
So glad I found this site, and all the wonderful, supportive people here.
Many thanks!
I seem to have survived with no major complications. Went home Thursday, and am feeling a bit better every day.
Many thanks to all who sent words of encouragement and prayers my way.
Actually went shopping today, and made it longer than I thought.
So intent on feeling better I'm not even interested in the #s on the scale.
God bless,
Diane

Hi Diane!!! You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you.
You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel.
You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!!
Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike ride,
get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs
and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!!
Everything will be just fine and know you have a wonderful group of people
here to help you meet your needs.
The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!!
