Hi Kala. I'm so glad to hear that you are doing well. I hope you remember me I met you back in January a month before my surgery. I am doing great. I just had my 6 month ann on August 12th. I am down 100 lbs and only have 30 more to go till my goal weight of 130 lbs. E mail me and maybe we can get together again for lunch. Take care and hope to hear from you soon. Allison Koerner

Hi folks! I am 8 weeks post-op and doing great! I am down 42lbs. and staying very active. I walk and go to the gym almost everyday. I am even taking salsa dance classes and signing up to start Karate classes. I haven't had any hair loss (knock on wood) and I am tolerating most foods really well. Fish and eggs are the main exceptions. Well, that's all for now! Kala

You will love your new life, you will be able to do so many new things again. May the power of speedy healing be with you. Welcome to the losing side. Just remember others have been on the road before you, you are not alone and there will be others after you who will seek the same road as you, and you will be there to help them along

Hello Kala~“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you!
