"On August 18th I made my final dicission to go through with WLS. I have been looking into it for over a year. I called the office of Timothy Sifers. They worked me in the very next day due to a cancellation...GREAT! I was taken into what seemed to be a storage room to watch a video, during the video they kept bringing people into the room to weight them. It was very disruptive. I kept having to rewind the video because I was missing things. I then met Dr.Sifers. He is very honest and out right. I liked him immediately. He took the time to answer questions and didn't make you feel rushed. We talked and decided that my insurance would never pay for it...so here i am facing self-pay. 14,000 bucks. Well I have been saving for a boob job so i have most of it in savings. This has been going real fast my first appointment with the doctor was on August 19 2002 and my surgery is already scheduled for September 9th 2002. WOW!!! A total of 3 weeks from consultation to surgery. This gives me little time to get scared and back out. I am nervous as heck! I go in this Friday for pre-op test, hopefully those go well and i will be on the otherside as you all put it in a matter of 10days. wow. I read about some of you who have had to wait as long as a year or more. What scares me though is why is this doctors schedule so open. lol...I have talked to alot of his post-ops and they have all said good things and that they would do it all over again. So wish me luck.
