My surgery was a success. I was operated on 10/23/02 by Dr. Peter B. at Ypsi BTC. I forgot surgery was hard for a day or two, but I am feeling better. Saturday came home at Noon and it has been uphill from then. I can't say enough about the staff at BTC and how helpful the nurses, nurses assts., clng people, doctors, (everyone)! I have never seen a hospital just willing to assist everyone. If I asked for a reclyner, the girl delivering my food went and got it for me!!!! Imagine that! Anyway, if anyone is just starting the process, good luck and be patient. It is a long process and hopefully the wait will pay off now that I am on my road to recovery. Today is my last day on clear-liquids. Looking forward to a shake or something with more consistency. Thanks to all my friends that have listened to my crying/moaning for the last 6 months!
