Nicki Murphy, I tried to send this to you via e-mail but it came back:
I have been severly dehydrated twice, and I have to say what you are going through is exacatly what I did as well. My husband went out and got some Pedialyte (the stuff you give babies when they are sick) both in liquid form and in freezer pops. That helped a lot. Also just up your
fluid intake a LOT. If you can't drink water try Crystal Light. You will notice a difference as soon as you get enough liquid in your body to rehydrate. I took a clear pitcher, used a marker and drew lines at 16,32 & 64 oz's. Then made it a goal to drink down to the 64 each day. It is HARD, especially in the beginning but soon
you will find it is eaiser. Food wise, make a big pot of homemade soup, like chicken noodle or veggie. Puree it and then you can eat it. It
will help with your energy level a lot. Also, Campbells makes Homestyle soups that are really good. If you are still on soft or liquids drain the juice off or puree the meat & veggies and eat it that way. The serloin steak one has wonderful juice. Tastes really good and makes you feel like you are actually EATING something decent.
Hope this helps. Keep the faith, it will get better soon
Tami
