"Now that I am post-op and have had quite a few interactions with Dr. Johnell and his staff, I have nothing but the highest praise for him and his entire staff! Dr. Johnell could not be a more caring, considerate, skilled surgeon. He truly enjoys working with bariatric patients, in fact, he told me that learning to do lap RNY surgery and working with the bariatric patients and seeing how it changed their lives was literally a "life changing experience" for him. His bariatric nurses, Patrice (his wife), and Connie (also a gastric bypass patient herself), are THE BEST! They are truly wonderful and obviously care a great deal about the patients. They have an excellent support group I attend. "
