"I had my first appointment with Dr Popoola on 07/18/02. He and his staff were very helpful and informative; extremely thorough regarding the risks and benefits of Roux-en Y. I felt that the integrity of this particular medical team is some of the highest I have ever seen. The office staff was awesome and many are patients of Dr. Popoola's that have had the surgery. I think that says a lot about the integrity of his practice. Be aware that you should block out approximately 5 hours for your first visit because they are so thorough that it can take some time… they did not rush themselves or me with my care and I appreciate that very much. I felt like things would be done right the first time… Aftercare instructions are a stress point in their presentations. They advise all patients that there is NO excuse for neglecting aftercare and that they see more successes in people that take this part of the process seriously. They seem to have an excellent aftercare program where the patients seem to really unite. Besides my remarks above, I love the fact that they remember my name and specific information unique to me… I don’t feel that I am just another name in an appointment book to them…. I am looking for something negative to say, but honestly: I can’t think of anything other than the fact that I got extremely hungry in the 5 hours that I was there and developed a bad headache… Overall, it was the best customer service experience that I have had in ages! "
