Wow. Everyone for the all the posts~! Just figured out how to read them all LOL (ya I blonde LOL). Okay they called today and 5:30 AM is the time on the 3rd of June 2002. Now that I started to write this to say THANK YOU to all that have posted , I forgot all the names , foregive me~!! Now I am starting to understand why the Blonde jokes are so many <smile> Truelly, I am thrilled that everyone took the time to post . Means alot to me and greatly appreciated. Now that I have made it thru all the tests, the will, the power of attorney, and the health thingy about decisions in case, I feel so much better knowing, my ducks in order. Because of my BMI being off the wall I wanted to make sure everything taken care of for my daughter and granddaughter.. Relief is the word here ~!! So I am excited and the counting down is not calming me down LOL. Just called and changed the pre -op until the 21 so really crowding the date now. Now will need to spend 2 days in Lauderdale come all the way back here and return in 13 days for surgery ~!! NOT COMPLAINING hoping they get cancellation and keep me <BIG SMILE>. I have not a glue what I need to take or wear or anything. To busy making international flights for family arrivals and begging Fort Knox, to let my sister have a leave. Both her and husband Military for 25 years~! Yes, they finally said Whooooopie~! Found a place to stay two weeks after surgery only cost $311.00 per week and has kitchen and 2 large beds and wheelchair accessible. So all well here~ Have a Happy Sunshiney Day ~!!! Patti

Hi Patti! Congrats on your date. You're only two days before me... I will be thinking of you here in NJ and thinking good, losing, healing thoughts. :) Good luck...the wait begins. LOL

Faye, Thanks for the encouragement ~!! I did hand deliver all my reports to the off of Dr. Leonard D. Benitez no getting lost for me <smile> Now if I can get them to get the last meetings together Patient education, Nutritional Consult,Wellness Workshop I am ready to go for it~!! No more Memorial Page until after surgery.. I to upset for the families to read it. Upsets me but, I will forge ahead as I made my decision,once a decision made it is final~!(sometimes haha) No this decision stands final Thank you again Have a Bright Sunshiney Day Patti

Patricia, you will do very well with Dr. Benitez and staff. Also holy Cross is a great hospital. Very WLS friendly. Have an easy surgery and recovery. You won't be sorry. Also, please go through the before and after pictures. It is a must do after reading the memorial pages.
