Hi everyone! My friend Trixy is getting discouraged because she has been getting a lot of runaround and delays regarding her surgery. One delay was the Psych doctor wanting to see her for 6 months before okaying surgery! The worst part of this is if she can't convince the Psych doctor that she can't wait that long her surgeon won't take a second opinion. He only goes along with this one psych doc. Trixy is more then ready for this surgery. Any depression she has is the same depression we all have living with the disease of morbid obesity. Nothing is going to help her more then the opportunity to get rid of the weight. Please go to her surgery page and post some encouraging remarks to let her know that we are all supporting our Obesity Help sister. Thanks a bunch. I know i can count on you guys and gals.

I know you are going through a tough time right now - this process is sometimes long and tedious, but hang in there. I think you are taking all the steps that you can - just keep moving forward. Your approvals and evaluations will eventually come through and you will be on your way. You are worth the time and effort it will take!!!!! Best wishes.
