Angel checking in!..... I just met Julie in person a little over a week ago, and I feel like I have known her all my life. We have shared so many things alike in our battles with obesity. She is truly a beautiful woman inside and out, and I am proud she asked me to be her Angel and help see her through her surgery, since I used the same Doctor and Hospital myself in the Los Angeles area last November 1, 2001. Julie can use all the love and support she can get as she is just 2 weeks away from her "Big Day". Please encourage Julie by sending her your greetings. Thanks, Nanci Leonard

Hi Julie, I saw your post today and your excitement really touched me. I felt the same way 7 months ago and now here I am LIVING IT! I had lap RNY on 8/13/01. I've lost 90 lb. so far and I've gone from a size 28 to 14. Hang in there, these two weeks will pass soon and you'll be on your way to better days! I'm so excited for you! (((hugs))) Best wishes, Lorie :)

Julie, you will do wonderful. I know how you are feeling, my surgery is March 21st. I will say a prayer for you. Do everything the doctor tells you, get up and walk, cough, and breathe and you will be fine. God bless you and see you on the other side.
