"I began researching the Lap procedure on the internet sometime in December and stumble across this website and have been a fan ever since. It took some time and research before I made a decision to consult w/Dr. Felix in Fresno (Some 3 1/2hrs from my home). My research has paid off. I attended their seminar on 2/12/02 and walk away w/absolute confidence in Dr.Felix and his staff. I was most impressed w/his honesty, frankness, and humor. Not to mention that he is very accomplished.
I had my consult w/Rosemary, Dr.Felix's Assistant. She is wonderful, comforting and knowledgable. Casey, who does all the paperwork (and more) is just a Gem. Overall, I found his staff to be extremely helpful in answering any and all questions that I had. They reassured me things would go well after postop, IF I follow their instructions to the letter. They are very firm about following instructions - no veering accepted. It is now 2/14/02 and am awaiting word from my insurance - hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
