Clifford Deveney
"My surgeon is Cliff Deveney at OHSU. He is taking over Kenneth Welkers practice. He is a four gut surgeon, now doing bariatrics as well. He has been working with Drs. Welker and McConnell at OHSU. I really liked him right off. He was friendly and professional. He answered all my questions and put me right at ease. He was trained by Kenneth Welker in the DS. He is more conservative in his surgery. I would give him an overall scale of 8. I feel surgical competence is the most important. I feel he is very competent. I felt his bed side manner was fine. I was very comfortable with him. His specialty is NOT bariatrics. His follow up care might not be as thorough as Dr Welker or Mcconnell. My PCP works in bariatics however so I feel I will have proper follow up. **** In my personal opinion...Choose a more experienced bariatric surgeon*****"
