Well I just spoke to Marty, she sounds GREAT!! She is not in much pain and has a bariatric bed so she has been able to sit up and eat her ice chips..only thing she didn't like was that they didn't remove the NG until around 3am this morning because she had so much drainage..her husband is with her and taking good care of her..as of now she is coming home Saturday! Well you made it girly! You're an official Loser now! :o)

*~* Angel On Duty *~* - I jut spoke to Marty, her surgery is tommorow morning at 7:30am and she is at home doing the lovely bowel prep as we speak. She is nervous as is to be expected and some kind words and warm wishes sent her way would be greatly appreciated! Marty, I love you sweetie and you're gonna do wonderfully! I'm having surgery the same day as you. Best of luck to you too. Can't wait to be on the other (skinny) side. Keep your spirits up. With all the people having surgery on this day, I'm sure all the prayers will be with us all.

Hey i just want to wish you luck. I will be praying for you. Dr.shina was my surgeon to. I had my surgery sept.4 2001. So i am almost 3 weeks post op. Its hard the first couple of weeks but it gets better. I have already lost 30 pounds. I wish you a speedy recovery. Rhonda
