Felissa, I hope you are checking your measurements. Its during the plateaus that we lose INCHES! The plateaus also give our heads time to adjust to our new bodies. You're doing great, keep up the good work!

well, I called to check on Felissa today....and.... the best news yet...she was discharged! Hooray! Welcome home Felissa!

I talked to Felissa this morning, and it seems she did have a bit of a set back..... She spent yesterday doing quite a bit of vomiting, not being able to hold anything down.....they needed to re-insert an NG tube, and also gave her an endoscopy to dilate her opening, as it was swollen shut on her.....so far this morning, she has been able to keep some broth and some jello down...it is slow going for her, but so far, so good. She will be in the hospital until Sun at the earliest now......and she says she is glad for that. She does sound well this morning, and is relieved, now that the NG tube has been taken out again....so please keep your prayers comming for her....she is going in the right direstion, but until she is out, I think some good, old- fashioned praying, and positive thoughts are the best things right now! THANKS!

I talked with Felissa this morning....she is now tubeless! Her NG tube was pulled about 10 min before I called her, and she is so very happy now! She sounds really well.....she is walking, and she has conveyed to me how very happy she is that she made it, and that she is now on the "other side"...her little 6 year old called her this morning, and asked if she was "thin yet" how cute! So far, another great success story...she will be discharged on Fri....thanks for everyone's positive thoughts...I know she appreciates it!
