hi christie. thanks for posting to my surgery page. our new birthdays r just around the corner. are u as excited as i am? i think my brotherinlaw in North Adams is going to use dr shikora too. i wish u the best of luck with the surgery & pray for ur speedy recovery & successful weight loss.

Hi Cristie, It's me, Ellen H. Well, thanks for the input about my post. I am having lap RNY on 12/3/01. Well, fry mah hide...I am so excited, not nervous at all. Although I notice I am breaking out a lot on the back of my neck and shoulder area. Maybe that's how my anxious nerves are manifesting themselves, cause they're not in my brain, like they normally are!!I correspond a lot w/ local people on this web site and one lady in particular has her & her kids picture posted. Well, don't you know, I recognized her and chatted with her at the grocery store last night!! What a coincidence!! This web site and many people on it are a God-send to me. Well, you hoped for people to correspond with, I am chatty enough, right? Take care of yourself. We're both on to smaller and better lives!! Have a great day!!
