Hello Patricia, My name is Katrina and we have a few things in common.. First is that I see you are having surgery on the 17th of July. Well that is my birthday.. Soon to be your new "Birthday".. Second is that I had my surgery on the 12th of April 2001, with Dr. Harberg at the Park Plaza hospital. He is a great doctor. I didn't have any complications at all.. The people at the hospital were ok, some were great others were just there. One thing for sure is they know all about Dr. Harberg and us vbg'ers! There is a group at www.onelist.com that has a online support group and a once a month meeting for people who want weight loss surgery or are thinking about it or have already had it.. The group name on onelist is HWLSSG. Our next meeting is on the 8th. If you would like more info let me know.. I know that during the waiting for the surgery period all I wanted to do was find all the things I could out about everything concerning the surgery... I will keep you in my prayers.. Congrats! Kat
