Hi Kim! Krista here.Thats great we'll be in the hospital at the same time, maybe we'll be roomies. I'm sure we wont be up to much but maybe by time our stay is up we can manage a chat. Well here is some crazy info for ya. Last Thursday was my PAT day, everything went fine. But Friday I get a letter in the mail from BTC sayiny that as of May 1st BCBS ppo will NOT be covering RNY. Well needless to say I freeked. Because the letter already sounded like I wasn't able to get the RNY. so I called BTC and they said "oh we're so sorry to hear that".I about had kittens, I mean I've done so many things to get to this point and then a slap in the face.I said you can't do this to me my date it 2 weeks away!They say oh were sorry we sent you that letter, people who have dates for the month of April are fine.Just dont do anything to miss your appt. Well thats great I still get to have it but if I get sick or anything to get postponed I'm screwed. So now I'm going aroung with a mask to prevent getting sick. I look kinda funny but hey you do what you gotta do. So my long awaited point is if you have the same insurence please be careful as well. Thanks Krista Oh email me back if you have any questions

Hi Kim I went on this site to see if I could find others having the surgery the same time as I am and I have found 3 so far! I am scheduled at the same BTC and same day with Dr. Batay-Csorba. I have a feeling the next few weeks will fly by. At first it seemed so far away - 7 weeks. Now it seems close! Looking forward to meeting you at BTC.
