I had my surgery on the 14th of Feb. I am doing ok. I came home the day after surgery. The drain tube is something I am really looking forward to getting out. But other than that I am sticking to my liquids. My doctor doesnt allow protein drinks at all. I am on broth and gatorade and juices until the 21st. I get the tube out that day, thank God! The it's on to cream soups. I am feeling good though. I get tired but that is expected. I walk every morning and every evening. I take my showers and bathe with my ivory soap. lol I sleep in my recliner and take my pain meds only before bed, just to help me sleep all night, not for pain. After surgery I did ask, what in the hell have I done, but now I am ok with it...lol I am losing weight but I dont want to post how much because I am still in awe of it. I dont believe my scales and they are NEW! lol I am going to wait a while before I actually post what I have lost. Would I recommend this surgery to anyone, NO, but YES I would to certain people. You have to have good support at home and you have to be ready emotionally for this. So if you are reading this searching for answers I will gladly talk to you just email me...I am so ready to be healthy and I know I am on my way there...
