"So far, I've been very pleased with Dr. Magnuson. He met with me and my mother for almost an hour and answered all our questions. I was required to go through the Weight Management Center but the entire staff was very professional and respectful. I hear that Magnuson is tough on staff, but a strong patient advocate.....that works for me :-) 11/23/00 I'm now seven weeks out and 40 pounds lighter. I had no complications and I feel terrific. Dr. Magnuson is great: very caring, concerned and skilled. His office staff is also very competent and respectful. I can't say enough good things about the nurses at Hopkins Bayview....I simply couldn't have gotten better care and I never had to ask for anything twice. 10/03: I'm three years out, and down 200 pounds. Dr. Magnuson continues to see me about once a year. He caught a hernia for me that ultimately led to my getting a repair combined with a tummy tuck. He is simply the absolute best."
