"Dr. Nguyen is a great surgeon. He is very to the point when you first meet him, but he wants you to clearly understand what will be happening, what could happen, and what your part in your recovery will be. After the first appointment he was very personable. He spoke to my husband right after the surgery and provided him with all the details. He was concerned that he did not want us to go back to Reno for a week after he released me.. just in case. My husband was appreciative of his candor and concern.
There were no complications at all. Dr. Nguyen visited me everyday in the hospital, including Thanksgiving day. He also had several of his interns check up on me. I had plenty of attention and each of them were very nice, professional, and concerned.
My follow up appointments have also been very good. Each time he is happy to see me. He commends me on how I am doing and takes the time to listen to how I feel and what I've been going through.
I would recommend highly recommend him. Keep in mind though, he expects you to be a part of your recovery. The more you know about the procedure, the more research you do, and the more questions you ask... the more comfortable he will be in giving you this new tool!"
