04/23/02-Well, I am three months post-op, and I couldn't be happier or more pleased with my results. I have gone from 307.9lbs to a svelte 247 lbs. Although I still have a long ways to go, I am on the road! I came back from my regular doctor and he is elated. My blood sugar levels are normal, my blood pressure is normal, and I am not retaining water. He took me off all my meds except for Lipator for elevated cholestral. And that is only for a very mild case. My energy level is getting back to pre-obese levels, which is really nice. I have gone from a 28 dress size to a 20, so that is impressive to me. I want to thank everyone again for their prayers and support. If anyone is just kinda wavering on the fence about having this surgery, I urge you to go ahead with it. The pain is minute compare to the blessings of having a better quality of life. Stacy

I know the time is close and that the closer it gets the more the old nerves start acting up cause it's time to actually walk thru the process. I did it at BTC with Dr. Leverton on December 31st and was really, really nervous. However once you get there you can tell that these folks know what they're doing. Hang in there and join us over here on the other side where health awaits. God Bless and keep you Stacy.
