I went to visit Cathy in the hospital this afternoon. She is a little uncomfortable but not having to much pain. I took her for her first walk down the hallway. She has been sitting in the recliner but not for to long. She is sipping water & having ice chips. Her arm was swelled up from the iv so they had to move it to the other arm. She didn't like that at all, she wanted it gone all together. The nurse said as soon as she starts having her liquids they will take it out. <p> She is feeling a bit anxious. I guess it's because she lives an hr & a half away in Pennsylvania & she's missing her family. As I was getting ready to leave she got back into bed after being up since 3 am in the recliner. Hopefully she will get a good nights rest. <p> Cathy it was great meeting you!

Hi All ~ ~ I spoke to Cathy a little while ago & I'm happy to report that her surgery went well today & she's now on the other side. She didn't sound like she was in to much pain ( THANK GOD FOR THAY PUMP ) but she did say she wish she had something to drink. I will be going to visit her tomorrow so I will keep you all updated on her progress. CONGRATULATIONS CATHY!!! (((HUGS SUSAN)))

cathy i know right about now your probably feeling excited and scared to death but your almost there. my prayers are with you for a safe surg and recovery glenda berry
