I am home and doing fine. Not needing alot of pain meds. That's good because they are sooo gross!!!! But I wanted to thank everyone who signed and sent a prayer my way. It definetely helped! God Bless to you all!!! Thank YOU!

Tammy; Congratulations on your surgery!! GOD Bless and keep you in HIS care! You are starting on a wonderful journey to a whole new way of life! I had surgery on 9/05/01 and I am so happy that I did! You will soon be on the otherside of this weight loss issue!!! (HUGS)))

Hello again, this is Homer, Tammy's husband. Well its about 9:00 pm Wed. night, and all is well. Tammy is doing great !!!! She has practically been running in the halls!! She got her X-rays today and everything was a-ok. She was soooooo glad to get the tube out!! She's been drinking her protein and water with no problems, and they took the morpheine away tonight, so now she has crushed pain pills to take. Overall, things are very good, and she is expected to come home tomorrow !!!!! We can't wait !! Good luck to all, and thanks again for the support !!! ---Homer

Dear all, This is actually Tammy's husband Homer. First off I want to thank you all for you concerns and good wishes!!! Tammy came out of surgery about 2:30 this afternoon and everything is great!! She spent about an hour and 15 minutes in recovery, and then was moved up to 5 east room 533. After about another hour, she started coming around and was just begging to get up and walk!!! I couldn't believe it!! I am so proud of her !!! When I left at about 9:15, she had gotten up and made it half way across the room, and that was enough for the first time!! Her pain level was fairly mild, and she was doing good with the breathing tests. Again I want to thank you all for your support, it has helped alot !!!!!!!!!!! ---Homer
