I went to the dr today and I have lost 65 pound in two months. Taryn had her surgery on the 30th of August and has not been doing well. She has had excessive drainage and severe pain. Today was her first follow up appointment to get her staples out and check up. She lost 23 pounds so far. Hopefully she will continue to get stronger and stronger. Thanks for everyones help and support and prayers!

Dave had his `1st appt. He had his staples out and he has lost 35 lbs. since July 23rd. He is walking abotu 1.25 miles a day. He has had very little trouble with food and he has been great about his liquid intake. The only thing I worry about is his protein intake-any suggestions.

Dave is home and doing fine - he went off of morphine yesterday AM and we have been walking a lot - it is sooooo good to have him home! He and I are trying to get the hang of the portion size and ounce sizes etc - but we will manage. He has had no problems really we are thankful for that ....so far so good ...thanks again for prayers and good wishes!

Dave had his surgery today - everything seems to be great! The procedure went quickly, his vitals were great, the incision is smaller than we expected and he was joking as soon as he got to his room. The hardest part so far has been the 6.5 hour wait for him in recovery because the hospital had no rooms! Oh well, if that is the worst we will take it! Ok off to bed long day just wanted to let all of you kind folks that so far so good!!! Thnaks for the prayers and wishes! Taryn
