Mary Jo is out of surgery and in her regular room now. Her surgery lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes and she spent 2½ hours in the recovery room. That was an extraordinary amount of time in recovery but it sounds like they were trying to alleviate her pain. Mary Jo's husband said that she's in a lot of pain this evening but that the surgeon said she did just great. She did have her procedure laparoscopically which is a plus! Please send Mary Jo your wishes for a speedy recovery! I'm going to see her at the hospital tomorrow afternoon and I'd like to print out her surgical comments to try to cheer her up. Thank you so much! I know everyone here will pull together for Mary Jo! *hugs* <img src=http://mismgmt.freeservers.com/images/renee_sparkly_2.gif>

Mary Jo has been in surgery for 10 minutes now. I talked to her this morning for 15-20 on the phone and she was very nervous! She said she was thinking about things like what would happen if one of the staples hits her heart! Awwww! I reassured her that her heart isn't THAT close to her stomach and we both laughed. Again she commented on how wonderful everyone on this site has been to her. She was telling me how many wonderful and encouraging e-mails she received about her surgery over the last few days. She tried to post a "thank you" her to everyone but she couldn't figure out how. I told her I would tell everyone for her and teach her how to do it later. I'm going up to the hospital tomorrow morning so I'd appreciate everyone filling up Mary Jo's surgical page with HELLO'S and CONGRAT'S so I can print it and take it to her!! I just know how much you all mean to her and how much she enjoys reading her page. I'll update again later today after I talk to her husband once she's out of surgery. THANK YOU BUNCHES!!<p><img src=http://mismgmt.freeservers.com/images/renee_sparkly_2.gif>
